COVID-19 Deep Cleaning
The term deep cleaning has suddenly taken on a new public-health urgency. Current evidence suggests that novel coronavirus may remain viable for hours to days on surfaces made from a variety of materials. Cleaning of visibly dirty surfaces followed by disinfection is a best practice measure for prevention of COVID-19 and other viral respiratory illnesses in community settings.
Advanced Facility Systems Group has the equipment, chemical and labor in place in the unfortunate event someone in your building has contracted Covid-19. For desktops, floor, and walls where spotlessness is a necessity, electrostatic spray cleaning is your best option and we are armed with the latest technology.
Electrostatic spraying is the process of spraying an electrostatically charged mist onto surfaces and objects. Because the spray is electrically charged, the appropriate sanitizers, mold preventatives, and disinfectants evenly coat surfaces for a deeper clean.
Our product is a one-step disinfectant cleaner that is effective against a broad spectrum of bacteria, but perhaps even more important is virucidal, fungicidal, and inhibits the growth of mold and mildew. It’s a product that meets AOAC efficacy standards for hospital disinfectants and can be used on a variety of washable, hard, nonporous surfaces like countertops, tiles, stovetops, sinks, and commode surfaces. It’s also serves as a one-step sanitizer for soft surfaces like window treatments, couches, chairs, and seat cushions.
We follow guidelines provided by CDC and utilize approved products for cleaning and disinfection of rooms or areas of those with suspected COVID-19 have visited. It is aimed at limiting the survival of novel coronavirus in key environments. These guidelines are focused on community, non-healthcare facilities (e.g., schools, institutions of higher education, offices, daycare centers, businesses, community centers) that do and do not house persons overnight. These guidelines are not meant for cleaning staff in healthcare facilities or repatriation sites, households, or for others for whom specific guidance already exists.
How We Will Sanitize and Disinfect your Workplace
In the event that a person is confirmed with the coronavirus, close off all areas visited by the ill person. Open outside doors and windows and use ventilation fans to increase air circulation in the area. Call us immediately to set up the cleaning and disinfecting, but per the CDC, we will wait 24 hours before beginning the actual process.
We recommend all employees put paperwork away as we will be spraying your entire facility. We will come into your facility fully protected in Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs). We will use the electrostatic sprayer to create a fine mist with CDC approved chemicals to kill the COVID-19 virus with a less than 30 second kill time. We will then wipe down all surfaces in your facility. Your facility will be ready to be occupied for business within hours of completion.
Please contact us to arrange a quote to disinfect your facility, recurring services are available. Advanced Facility Systems is proud to help you keep your workplace clean and your employees safer during this unprecedented time.
